I love the setting here. One of the most beautiful places in the area. Stunning sea views and beautiful greenery. The pastries are good, coffee was good, tea was just OK.
Bathrooms are outside and are horrific, but probably not the shop's responsibility.
On the bright side, there's plenty of comfortable sitting, outlets, and even fireplace for laptop warriors. There's also a great playground right outside which is perfect if you have kids with you. -

This location has the best view out of any coffee shop I've ever been to. Located on Bellingham Bay, I mean that in a literal sense, and the views are amazing! Western is close by so you could bail on a class to come hangout (you probably shouldn't though.)
Getting here can get a little tricky if you don't know you're way around but it is worth it. Parking is easy and the area is a giant park.
I'm one of those people who drinks coffee black and without anything added. So I only had their drip coffee and a latte but from what I got, I wasn't disappointed. Their coffee is roasted darker than what I like but you'll get a good cup no matter what you buy. I didn't get food but I did have a peek into the food case. The island has merch and beans to purchase. Clothing, cups and beans are there so browse.
The interior is really spacious and has an outdoors feel to it. The bar area is quite small compared to the building but having this much seating space makes it feel like less of a cafe and more of a lodge. I liked that feeling. Upstairs is a small section with some chairs overlooking the main dining area. There is outside seating as well. If you really wanted to do something you could walk along the trail and the waterfront to take the view in. -

The view is stunning. Really, you're never going to find a coffee shop with a better view. The coffee is fine. The little oven that they heat the pastries in makes the entire shop stink an eye-watering burning toxic smell. Kind of ruins the otherwise-amazing atmosphere. If it weren't for that smell, I'd spend more time here. It smells like burning plastic.
Hey, you know what? Really nice employees, so that's cool. Ok. Gotta go wipe my eyes since they are burning from the toxic fumes now. -

I love this location. The interior is so welcoming. A large fireplace with nice leather chairs to sit in. A beautiful view of the water. A nice outdoor seating area for when the sun is shining. In a hurry? They have a walk up counter outside. The staff are always cheerful.

FANTASTIC coffee. Ambiance is phenomenal. Coffee is better. We went to the one down by the water and lived it. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.
